Preventing Amyloid-Beta Plaque Accumulation in Genetically Predisposed Young Adults in the United States

By 2060, an estimated 13.8 million Americans aged 65 and older may be living with Alzheimer's disease. This paper examines how consistent aerobic exercise, a neuroprotective diet rich in omega-3s and antioxidants, and high-quality sleep work together to slow beta-amyloid plaque accumulation, the hallmark of Alzheimer's, in young adults who carry the APOE4 risk gene, arguing for a shift from late-stage treatment toward early, lifestyle-based prevention.

From Burnout to Balance: Effective Solutions to Achieve Work-Life Balance for Adults in the U.S. Workforce

Burnout — now classified by the WHO as a syndrome caused by unmanaged workplace stress — costs American workers their health, relationships, and in extreme cases, their lives. This paper reviews evidence on corporate wellness and mindfulness programs versus enforced work-hour limits, concluding that combining both — equipping employees with mindfulness tools while capping hours and improving recovery time — is the most effective way to reduce chronic workplace burnout.

The Systemic Neglect of Neuroimmune and Nervous System Manifestations in Adolescent Endometriosis: Psychosomatic and Stress-Related Consequences in Females Aged 14–21 in the United States

Endometriosis affects roughly one in ten females of reproductive age and is increasingly recognized as a systemic neuroimmune condition extending far beyond pelvic pathology — yet adolescents face years-long diagnostic delays, especially for non-gynecologic symptoms involving the nervous, gastrointestinal, and immune systems. This mixed-methods study of 23 participants aged 14–21 examines whether underrecognition of full-body neuroimmune symptoms in adolescent endometriosis contributes to heightened psychosomatic burden and stress dysregulation.

CRISPR-Cas9 Technology in Germline Editing: A Scientific Evaluation

On November 25, 2018, a Chinese scientist revealed the birth of two babies whose genes had been edited using CRISPR-Cas9 to make them resistant to HIV, sparking global ethical and legal debate. This paper evaluates whether CRISPR technology should be legalized for germline editing in the United States, examining its consistent accuracy and strong potential to cure genetic diseases like ALS, sickle cell disease, and β-thalassemia against the ongoing risk of off-target effects.
